The client wanted a couple of portrait photos of the chef in charge and herself (the owner). They also needed some food items from their new summer menu, which was launching around the time we did the food photography.

The goal of the shoot was to capture great portraits and styled food photos. The owner was doing the food styling, and I needed to capture the dish's right look. The portrait photo styles and positioning were planned on the spot, just minutes before snapping the photos.

The restaurant needed high-quality photos to showcase its highlight dishes from the summer menu. The client wanted photos featuring the top managers at the place – the head chef and the owner.

The food photography was done in a single location, with each dish styled one after another. The portrait shots were not planned in advance. I was developing the angles and themes for the portrait photos on the spot to showcase the chef and the owner appropriately.
